Keep

November 20th, 2009

Keep_Shoes

“Los Angeles brand Keep make cruelty-free shoes using mostly sustainable materials.  Their designs are definitely based on classic silhouettes, but they also feature unique fabric choices that give us that spark we crave.  Japanese-milled herringbone, sustainable bamboo-cotton corduroy, and classic canvas meet extra wide gingham, chambray, and terry-cloth linings. All Keep designs are unisex, though they are actually marked in women’s US sizing, so be aware of that when [buying] (you wanna go up 1 and 1/2 sizes fellas). ”

Limited Hype’s writeup is on point.

Keep is a green shoe company who definitely do nice work.  Sporting a nice silhouette and foreign materials, Keep provides a good choice for the ladies and even the men .

The Johnson Mid is The Hundreds main shoe model. It has both nubuck and suede offerings in a classic silhouette with a vulcanized sole. The Johnson Mids are a nice alternative to more well-known low sneakers.

This season’s Johnson Mid comes in a three tone color scheme and is fabricated with nubuck action leather uppers. They feature a logo label at the top of the lightly foam-padded tongue, and collar opening is also padded for comfort. The soles feature a The Hundreds logo badge at the heel and a Jags pattern underneath.

rp-fluro-yellow-email-blast

The newest iteration in the Fluro Player is yellow. This ends Nixons 4-month 4-watch limited release. In case you missed out on: orange (August on-sale), green (September on-sale) and pink (October on-sale), here’s your chance to grab one. Nixon is definitely on to something, the colors are so vivid they are sure to gain 2 looks (ie. snapping necks).

“[featuring] a 3-hand Japanese quartz movement, a custom molded, high-polish, gloss finish polyurethane case and band and features a diamond at the 6 o’clock position.”

Supply is very limited, so once these guys are gone — they’re gone for good. Available at Momentum 8th Street.

The Market has just stocked up on new Girl tees & crewnecks, Royal tees, Chocolate tees, and Nike SB tees, hoodies & flannels.

Just in time for the winter that will never be. In this weather, skaters can still do their thing and snowboarders have to go find spots… global warming is to blame!

$10 OFF Gloves/Mittens

November 17th, 2009

If you come down to either Outtabounds, Momentum 8th or Momentum Marketplace, you can save some money on those things that are like a tuque but for your hands.

Insulated winter mittens and gloves are $10 off at all locations. Even though there is no snow, it still gets cold out there and keeping your hands warm is important.

You will notice that without any proper protection your hands get cold very fast. It’s because the body decides to sacrifice appendages to keep the body warm, blood vessels become smaller and blood is directed to more important sections of the body. Therefore your hands become cold, there is no circulation and they’ll fall off! (I think that’s how it works; biology)
