Weight, size and density are very important when selecting your wheel. Ricta has what your looking for; Wide range of selection and diversity. They also have a great skate crew: Appleyard, Lutzka, Muska, Burnquist, Campbell, Foster, Glifberg, Hsu, and David Gonzalez… to name a few. Each skater has there own style of skating, Ricta recognizes that and brings you the diversity that you need.
We have just received an instock of Boltz, Clouds, and Naturals, in all different sizes. Ryan Mack gives the ‘Boltz’ two thumbs up! These are flying off our shelves, so don’t sleep!

The first Nike shoe to have Koston’s name officially attached to it — strange it took this long — and just like any other Koston-related sneaker, this one is dope. Blue suede covers the upper for its entirety, with the exception of the metallic gold Swoosh which is also lined with red (blood… haha kidding). The inner lining is also red, while the midsole is white and sits a top of the beautiful gum outsole.

Brian Anderson had the pleasure to work with Nike and revamp the Blazer and again create his own iteration. He cut the ankle height down, used black suede for the upper, and orange leather for the Swoosh. The lining and branding both match the Swoosh but lack the leather aspect. The white laces and midsole truly complete the overall look of these shoes: clean, popping, and contrasting.

Best known for their collaborations with artists such as: Parra, Ryan Waller, Kid Acne, Gaspard Augé, The Bloody Beetroots, TTC, Surkin and A-Trak. Their t-shirts are one of a kind, almost like framed art. Absolutely every single shirt is near perfection this season, being a great choice for regular, everyday, wear.

Nike continuously gives the P-Rod sneakers nice, likeable, colorways. This P-Rod has a matte silver upper which can be found on the toebox, side panel, tongue and heel. Black is an accenting color here as the Swoosh and linings subtly contrast with the matte silver. Bright [electric] green can be found on the back section of the midsole/outsole and on the insole thus becoming the dominant contrast. The insole also features a nice splattered spot design for those of you who dig such things.

The upcoming weekend is crammed full of good events and it sucks because we all can’t be in more than one place at a time. Scratch is presenting Eh Team and Betti Ford on (Friday) May 28th and (Saturday) May 29th respectively. Shad has his show at Amigos on (Friday) May 28th, and now the boys behind 50cupsofcoffee are having a show on (Friday) May 28th at Crazy Cactus as well.
50cupsofcoffee is a site dedicated to promoting good music, nothing is ever for download except their own mixes, and if you really need (which is pretty often) to obtain one of the bangers they post, I’m sure you’ll find a way. It’s their second event to date, and for good cause too, plus it’s ran by local boys so why not come out. Maybe Shad is sold out and Scratch is full on Friday, or maybe 50cups is full and Scratch is full, go to Shad, or maybe Shad is sold out and 50cups is full, go to Scratch — haha, you get it, Friday is jam packed.
Here’s what 50cupsofcoffee have to say about their event:
It’s the jump off! Big news, mark your calendars we just got the first jam of the summer set up! It’s going to be down at the Crazy Cactus this coming Friday, the 28th. The good news is its going to be a free event, but the great news is it is going to be a party with some purpose, we will be taking donations for Relay For Life. So if everyone could bring a donation, we can raise some serious scrilla for a great cause! Every bit counts. The party starts at 9 and the Cactus will fill up quick so coming earlier than later is always fun!
