Nike Sportswear continues to add impressive pieces to their already spectacular NSW Pinnacle line (see: Cardigan; Crewneck). So far, the M65 Gore-Tex® Jacket is the greatest example of the balance between technical and aesthetic design that NSW is maintaining. The Gore-Tex® Paclite Shell, alongside its laser cut seams and bonded construction, will keep you absolutely dry. More technical features include a packaway hood and articulated shoulders and arms for increased mobility. All this based within a sleek black M65 jacket, NSW continues to keep me looking forward for great things in the upcoming months.

The legendary Air Max ’90 celebrates two decades this year with a special release of everyone’s favorite colorup – the Infrareds. They will be available on Saturday (July 24th) for those who are interested in some beautiful shoes. While there is no change tech-wise or in the physical design – note Tinker Hatfield’s design (please watch) — the Infrared colorway is as dope as it gets.

NSW continues to be one of the best new brands I’ve seen at a reasonable pricepoint. Like the little blurb above says, NSW focuses on being aesthetically appealing while implementing tech aspects that separates them from the rest of the pack. The NSW Varsity Cardigan is made out of a wool-blend which results in breathability; built on top of the Cardigan’s base material are 2 front welt pockets and 1 rear welt pocket, plus a knit-in sleeve stripe adds a nostalgic feel.

Incase

What some people don’t know is that Incase is not only available at Momentum 8th Street but it is also available at Momentum Marketplace. Incase is dedicated to creating protective products to hold things that are dear to us (Macbooks/Laptops, iPods, iPhones, etc). Their designs are sleek and clean, the colors are bright and eyecatching, all the while including all the necessities you may need.

At the Marketplace, there are skate dedicated bags such as the P-Rod Backpack (below), and there are normal protective packs such as the Incase Backpack (red – below). The Hundreds Fall/Winter 2010 Collection

The Hundreds have recently unveiled their newest collection for Fall/Winter 2010. The collection (from what is seen) consists of tees, parkas, a new high top sneaker, crewnecks, glasses, zip-ups and button-ups — almost expect what you’ve always expected from The Hundreds. One thing the boys at The Hundreds aren’t is dumb, in their explanation for the upcoming collection, they acknowledge the progressive changes in consumer demand. While keeping their streetwear roots they seem to allude to the usage of better materials in the upcoming seasons:

“as far as our offerings go, is a certain modern familiarity with bold colors, smart graphics, traditional sportswear, and premium denim, but through a nostalgic lens. So what were once vivid hues have been toned down to classic shades, raw and crispy fleece may have a more comfortable hand-feel, and the washes follow suit. There is an obvious emphasis on worn-in sweatshirts and ready-to-wear jackets, while our trademark plaid flannels have taken a more subtle approach. The idea here is that these are your favorite The Hundreds clothes as you may find them to wear in years’ time. And we certainly hope that is the case.”

Expect to see a closer, more in-depth, look into the Fall/Winter collection sooner than later. And expect to see it in person in the upcoming months, ’cause you know it’ll be available at 8th Street and Marketplace.

10DEEP Update

10DEEP’s Summer 2010 shipment has arrived at both Momentum 8th and Marketplace. New graphic tees, tank tops and buttonups are available. The tees continue to follow the 10DEEPs trend of plastering their logo over top of anothers, while the buttonups are obviously designed by the company.

Nike Toki – Perf. Leather & White/Spice

The Toki above is yet another ideal shoe for the current season. Micro perforated leather (looking at it in person you’ll notice the perforation is finer than the Toki below) adorns the upper, while a white vulcanized sole sits below. The only accent on this shoe is the stripe separating that sole from the upper. Almost like a Desert Boot, the Toki is a nice shoe to add variety to your collection.

White perforated leather is used for upper’s construction, with full grain appearing on the quarter panel trim and Swoosh. The eyelets and sole are both also white, with the latter receiving an accent stripe of Spice red.
