Similar to the Air Max, the Air Maxim only differs fractionally in appearance — the fit would only be slightly different. Personal preference is all that would influence a decision in regards to the two. The upper  is completely black, while white laces, lime eyelets, outsole, tongue tab, and swooshes are used to add contrast.

Go Skateboarding Day was about 2 weeks ago, KR3W skate team was sent out around North America to celebrate with all the skaters, fans, and… cops… The cops weren’t so stoked on it. Lizard rips so hard in this video, wearing his new pro model shoe “The Bullet” (really skateable shoe from Supra) and Muska makes an appearance with his “Sky Top II”.

NSW Crewneck

July 6th, 2010

NSW stands for Nike Sportswear, but it could easily be called something else. While keeping the Sportswear aspects in the line, NSW is much more fashion innovative than fashion oriented. NSW keeps the athletic appeal within the product but with a modern update of sorts. The key factor being versatility; you could wear this crewneck during a run or to work. Definately a best of both worlds operation: athletic fashion or fashionable athletics?

This charcoal NSW  hoody is superb with its simple embroidered letters and side zipper pocket. The perfect weight is also provided as it is made out of 100% organic cotton.

Nike Player

July 6th, 2010

Canvas seems to be the theme for the day (you’ll understand later on), as Nike’s Player is completely made out of… you guessed it: canvas. I suppose it is the Summer of All White Everything and this shoe is exactly that. With an all white upper, all white metal eyelets and midsole, the Player is stupendously pure — just waiting to be tainted. Minimal branding can be seen near, and on, the heel while the silhouette has an almost Chuck Taylor look. A nice twist on Nike’s part, and another great Summertime sneaker.

This particular Jordan Brand release marks the fourth Air Jordan 9 colorway to release this year. It is also one of the most highly-anticipated Air Jordan 9 of this year. The minimal citrus-colored hints, against the primarily black base, is definitely a great color scheme for the summer season. The 3M reflective design, seen throughout the heel and just above the black sole is another interesting feature on this Air Jordan 9.

Throughout the upper, leather and suede are both utilized alongside tonal grey panels. The ankle padding boasts a neat pattern which adds yet another texture to the build, and orange contrasts are obvious with the laces and midsole popping out. Nike’s trademark Swoosh and inner lining also contrast with their white colorways. Apparently these Dunks are an ode to the upcoming season of Fall, as they represent the aging of leaves.
