Lakai Telford All Weather – Green

Lakai’s All Weather Telford is one of the more interesting shoes up on our walls this Summer. It has a special insulated lining which is weather and waterproof providing the wearer a dry foot — something that is more than necessary thanks to the weather nowadays. Another gumsole beneath a military green is another appropriate switch up from traditional sneakers.

DVS Transom – White Leather

DVS’ Transom model is now available at Momentum Marketplace. White leather covers the entirety of the shoe with some black lining/outsole to add noticeable contrast. The inner lining consists of multi-colored stripes for those with an eye for detail. Skate it or wear it.

Circa 99 Vulc – Wetherby Black & Tile Blue

Circa’s 99 Vulc has had and will have plenty of iterations in the past and future respectively. The Wetherby Black is a new version of said model, with an interesting “Tree Branch” design in graphite grey throughout the upper. Branding stays typical to that of any other 99 Vulc with the exception of “CW” on the tongue, representing Craig Wetherby.

The Tile Blue 99 Vulc stays true to form by only differing in color. The panel consists of a rough canvas material and interchanges with smooth leather. White laces and midsole offer contrast and complete the shoe.

Incase

What some people don’t know is that Incase is not only available at Momentum 8th Street but it is also available at Momentum Marketplace. Incase is dedicated to creating protective products to hold things that are dear to us (Macbooks/Laptops, iPods, iPhones, etc). Their designs are sleek and clean, the colors are bright and eyecatching, all the while including all the necessities you may need.

At the Marketplace, there are skate dedicated bags such as the P-Rod Backpack (below), and there are normal protective packs such as the Incase Backpack (red – below). Incase bags are always weather protective, and boast an impressive list of features: Velcro pockets, Padding, Notebook/iPod compartment w/ Faux Fur — the list goes on and on.

Circa Drifter

A skate-casual shoe that features a minimal, cotton canvas upper alongside a vulcanized outsole. Skate it or wear it; the grey is a great shade reminiscent of a heather grey tee — both of which are hard to find. With the most minimalistic branding, the Drifter is built to be shown off with a pair of shorts or rolled cuff.

Nike SB Dunk Low – “Chrome Ball Incident”

Black leather is used on the quarter panel, toe box and ankle, while Medium Grey suede finishes off the construction of the upper. Emerald suede is used for Swoosh and the same hue can be seen on the outsole, liner and midsole stitching.

The Hundreds Fall/Winter 2010 Collection

The Hundreds have recently unveiled their newest collection for Fall/Winter 2010. The collection (from what is seen) consists of tees, parkas, a new high top sneaker, crewnecks, glasses, zip-ups and button-ups — almost expect what you’ve always expected from The Hundreds. One thing the boys at The Hundreds aren’t is dumb, in their explanation for the upcoming collection, they acknowledge the progressive changes in consumer demand. While keeping their streetwear roots they seem to allude to the usage of better materials in the upcoming seasons:

“as far as our offerings go, is a certain modern familiarity with bold colors, smart graphics, traditional sportswear, and premium denim, but through a nostalgic lens. So what were once vivid hues have been toned down to classic shades, raw and crispy fleece may have a more comfortable hand-feel, and the washes follow suit. There is an obvious emphasis on worn-in sweatshirts and ready-to-wear jackets, while our trademark plaid flannels have taken a more subtle approach. The idea here is that these are your favorite The Hundreds clothes as you may find them to wear in years’ time. And we certainly hope that is the case.”

Expect to see a closer, more in-depth, look into the Fall/Winter collection sooner than later. And expect to see it in person in the upcoming months, ’cause you know it’ll be available at 8th Street and Marketplace.

Nike SB Bruin – White/Black

The Bruin was/is initially a Tennis shoe, and with this mainly white colorway, what else is there to think about except Tennis? White canvas is used for the upper, black suede takes care of the Swoosh, matching up with the tongue and liner. The white midsole only further enforces the perfection within the shoe and the end product we see here is ready for Summer.

Nike SB Blazer CS – Black/Gum

Brian Anderson designed the Blazer CS, and it seems like Nike is more than happy to keep his variation of their Blazer around. For those of you who didn’t see Anderson’s breakthrough design, here’s what’s up: he chopped the heel lower so the shoe itself is still a Blazer but not quite as tall (think of it as a Blazer Mid compared to the normal Blazer High). This pair makes use of black suede on the upper with a beautiful gum sole. You can’t really go wrong if using a gum sole, or gum anything for that matter. Contrast comes from the white laces, tongue branding and Swoosh.
