This news isn’t surprising one bit, Ishod has been killing it the last couple of years. Check out the videos below, Ishod talking about his skate life since day one; skating the driveway of his friend’s house, his first contest, sending clips to Real, meeting the Real team for the first time, and filming for his first full-part with Real Skateboards.
Deluxe recently hosted a demo at Berrics Westchester Park, for hundreds of young rippers. The Real, Spitfire, Nike SB, Fourstar and Woodward teams were in attendance shredding the park for the groms. Giving away product and ice cream. Ishod had a big surprise when he went to order some ice cream. Check out the hype below.
Over the last year DC has rediscovered their skateboarding roots; rebuilding their team, direction and product. We are stoked to say the we are now carrying DC’s core skate line at our Momentum Marketplace store located on Attridge Drive.
Introducing the Teak S Shoe, a low-profile silhouette sitting on top of a white performance cup sole. Featured in a soft resilient Chestnut Brown action leather, accented by brown leather lacing, and the DC Skate patch logo on the tongue. Perfect shoe to dress up (check out that moc toe) or skate in the (soon-to-be) new indoor skate park.
Our new sneak of the week is Kenny Anderson’s Converse pro model shoe. It has a high abrasion suede and waxed laces for durability. The KA-One also has a padded collar and tongue to remain comfortable for skating. This shoe’s midsole goes from being larger at the heel side of the shoe to smaller on the toe end, the purpose of this is to have the shoe flex easily with natural movements. The tread pattern looks similar to the Adidas Samba’s in my opinion but would certainly be different being made for skateboarding.
Brad Cromer recently met up with the rest of the Dirtbag Crew in Los Angeles to hangout and skate. Check out the footage of his recent stay, featuring tricks from HUF team riders Dan Plunkett, Johan Stuckey, and Keith Hufnagel.
Vans is that classic core brand that all skaters respect. They have managed to take heritage models and infuse them with modern technology to present to skaters both new and old. This week we have the Half Cab Pro displayed. You can expect good durability, the classic waffle grip, ankle protection and a clean look.
The mighty Half Cab steps fittingly into Vans’ new pro line of performance-optimized heritage kicks. These legends take on ultra shock absorbent cushioning, increased stability and durability, and a new Supertuff Suede materialization in the uppers. They’re built for the hardest riders out there. – Vans
This week we have Koston’s Nike SB model as our weekly feature. It has minimal seams on its TPU reinforced suede upper to create board feel while maintaining durability. The cup sole construction and use of lo ride construction gives the shoe a vulc-like feel. Rather than the Zoom Air bag, this sneaker uses Lunarlon technology. I own a pair myself and enjoy them a lot. It is one of the most comfortable skate shoes I have ever owned, feeling similar to a runner. In the case of the Koston, less is more.

Surprisingly, Nike wasn’t on Twitter before — and less surprisingly — nor were they on Instagram. The #MAKEITCOUNT campaign has been initiated with their emergence on the social media platforms. Popular photographers like, 13th Witness ( from 12/30/2011-1/3/2012), will be taking pictures for the #MAKEITCOUNT hashtag. All the images will appear on Twitter and Instagram.
