LRG Update @ Outtabounds

June 30th, 2010

More Summer styles from LRG.

Once again they’re all on point with their reknowned graphic tees. The standout tee in my opinion is the Lion Strike — the use of triangles to make the image is plain ol’ dopeness.

I highly recommed you get yourself to Outtabounds to check out these new watches. We only have one watch in each of the styles displayed below, so once it is gone….it is GONE.

The Kensington Crystal is glam gone right, the Platform Drab is just a bleeping awesome watch and the Newton, ironically enough, makes you look ‘bright.’

We’re currently doing a new promotion. The “Tenspot” coupon (featuring Tylermeister — top) entitles customers to $10 off any regular priced purchase over $50. The customer does NOT need to present the coupon. They only need to mention the coupon code: TENSPOT.

Giant Bikes: Yukon FX

June 15th, 2010

Choose Your Own Route And Adventure — Smooth Dirst Trails Or Rugged Single Track — With Yukon FX

The Yukon FX is a great option if your looking for a solid mountain bike. The aluminum frame reduces weight but doesn’t compromise strength: “Yukon’s lightweight ALUXX aluminum frame has the geometry you need to thread tricky lines, with a dropped toptube and tall cockpit that give you comfort with control”. Both 2009 and 2010′s models are available at Outtabounds, and with not much difference between each bike except color, you’ll be sure to find something you like.

If you have any questions please feel free to come in and ask.

Available at Outtabounds

Commuter Bikes With Aluminum Frames

Another city bike for all you cyclists out there, the Tran Sends are reminiscent of bikes you could find in Europe (Amsterdam, Munich, etc). If your looking for a bicycle that will simply get you from Point A to Point B, then this is the bike for you. 3 models are available at Outtabounds, if you hit the jump you will see the specs for each Tran Send, but I suggest you visit them in person for further inspection. I prefer the LX and DX as they both have a bell, kickstand, fender, and a rack.

LRG at Outtabounds

June 10th, 2010

A nice selection of new LRG has arrived for the Summertime. More specifically, lightweight clothing (Henleys, Tanks, Tees, and Shorts) for the hot days we all experience when it’s not raining. The Henleys divert from traditional nautical themed wear with bright and playful colors for the sunny days. The Tees are something you could expect from LRG — heavy on the graphics — but as usual, and despite what others may say, they do it easily and most importantly they make them wearable. The shorts come correct in two solid (literally and figuratively) colorways, which is something that’s harder to find than you might think.

Johnny Grit Review

June 9th, 2010

My Photos | JOHNNY GRIT

Johnny Grit performed at Buds last Friday, and now, thanks to Pearce Kilgour (The Paper Hat Pirate), there is a review of our friends’ performance:

Johnny Grit is a fun ride down blues and rockabilly backroads with a rock mixtape blaring on vintage vox amp headed towards bar band legend highway. Drum solos and beats that are at times a study in Buddy Rich, other times are almost glossed over. Heavy bass lines only let up for tempo switches which only bring out the rock. Guitar solos at times seemed a little disjointed, but was a reminder that this is only mainstream influenced, not mainstream. Vocals include some of the cleanest rasp I’ve heard in quite a while.
