Rome snowboard design syndicate has given the masses something extra special to celebrate this holiday season. Introducing the early limited release of the 2012-13 Rome Hammerhead.

Technically, the Hammerhead features FreePop Rocker Camber and QuickRip Sidecut, along with a sneak peak at 2013 tech features like the Skatecore profiling that gives handling like a skate deck and Butterout transition zones that deliver an extra-mellow feel. Available in one size, 147, ideal for any skateboard influenced rider or park rider.

Oh… I forgot to mention.

Los Angeles-based filmmaker David Gallardo, accompanied representatives of both Fairfax-based brands on a road trip up to San Francisco to spread the word and throw a party for the “Forever Summer” collection.

SF based rapper Alexander Spit headlined a show in his home city; Bobby Hundreds provides commentary; and the whole #RSWD (Kanye West related? hehe) rolled out to show support for the Hundreds x Diamond “Forever Summer” collab.

Oakley Airbrake, the newest addition to Oakley’s goggle line-up. Featuring new Oakley Switchlock technology, the Airbrake allows riders to quickly change the goggle lense to adapt to the rapidly changing wheather conditions, whether on the hill or on the mountain. An additional lense is included with each goggle, so you are ready to go from the start. Each lense features F-3 anti-fog with dual lense technology. Within seconds the lense is removed and replaced, all while maintaining crystal clear optics and maximum impact protection.

Adding additional components, plastic and hardware to make up a quick release lense system could potentially cause the lense to be more rigid in certain areas, during a crash this may not bode well for your face. Oakley ensured you are safe with protection that meets the gold standard: ANSI Z87.1 rated impact resistance. Strap outriggers ensure pressure is distributed evenly and the frame structure recuces pressure on nasal area.
