A number of people have been asking about the Dalek Icebots in our Kidrobot cases. Dalek, aka James Marshall was born in Connecticut in 1968, and currently resides in Brooklyn. He is inspired by street art, graffiti, and televisual culture. He has worked with Takashi Murakami (who you may know as doing the art on kanye’s latest album), as well as had exhibitions in many major cities, including New York, London and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Washington. You may not be able to afford an original Dalek, but you can afford a collection of Dalek Icebots.
