Bridge City
The premise of the ko-op series was to base a hat on your city. Saskatoon has the nickname “Bridge City” after the beautiful bridges over the river. The bridge under the brim is the University bridge – I drive on it most days of the week. For those of you that don’t know – Saskatoon is a Cree word, so we tied in a Native American theme into the hat. This theme shows hits of stitching reminiscent of a moccasin, as well as beadwork on the side panels. We wanted to use real beads, but it had too much volume on the side, so used a gel ink. “Bridging gaps since ’00 ” comes from a few things: We bridge the gap between the east and west sides of our city, between the east and west coasts, and with our vast product mix, we bring people looking for sneakers, street, skate, snow and more together.

Lookout, Ibn Jasper copied us! Just kidding, but Quintin has just completed a project with him too and it’s pretty cool. Who’s Ibn Jasper? Kanye West and Lupe Fiasco’s friend; inspiration for Kanye’s Louis Vuitton shoes and just a general hypebeast (the good kind — but is there a good kind?).
