Arbor Snowboards/Longboards

December 7th, 2009

The Arbor Collective uses environmentally friendly natural materials to produce snowboards, skateboards, and bamboo apparel. Atypically, Arbor incorporates wood into the production of their boards and in doing so they being Ec0-friendly. A Poplar core is inserted within all of their boards because of the abundance of Poplar trees, and Poplar’s durability and lightness.

The Arbor long-boards boast a number of Ec0-friendly features: Recycled Glass Re-Grip, Water-Based Finishes, Recycled Plastic Risers, Reclaimed Wood By-Product, and Bamboo Power Ply.

Arbor’s product is beautifully manufactured and just as capable as any other company’s. Being environmentally friendly was Arbor’s specialty before everyone jumped on the “Earth needs some help” wagon, and they aren’t doing it for publicity. They have always been using renewable, abundant, sustainable and grown materials in production.
