“At Canada Goose we’re committed to producing the best extreme cold weather outerwear in the world.

We have been manufacturing innovative, high quality outerwear in Canada for over 50 years. From South Pole research facilities and the Canadian High Arctic to the streets of New York City, Stockholm, Milan, Toronto and Tokyo, people wear our brand because of our reputation for quality, functionality and style.

Our collection of down-insulated, technical and travel inspired outerwear will protect you in conditions that range from the mind-numbing cold of Antarctica to the gale force winds on the North Sea. Anyone who has ever worn one of our products will tell you that it has never let them down.” - Canada Goose

Canada Goose is made in Canada and unexpectedly is made for extreme cold, instead of local, Saskatchewan, Alberta, Quebec, etc, cold. If you dislike the cold here in Saskatoon and want to stay absolutely warm, Canada Goose is right for you.

The fur on the hoods of Canada Goose jackets is  real to provide warmth but is also obtained in the most legitimate (Fur Council of Canada) and humane ways:

“We use Coyote fur only as absolutely necessary, and exclusively for functional purposes. Our jackets are–and always have been–used in the coldest places on earth. In such climates, where skin can freeze in an instant, the coyote fur creates a warm environment in the most critical area–around the face. The warm pocket of air keeps exposed skin warm and ensures that exhaled air does not freeze. It is for precisely this reason that the technologies of centuries past used fur for protection against the extreme cold. Today we are able to use as little fur as possible, while maintaining the critical functionality of this sort of product.”

Sort of a added aspect to Canada Goose is their creative variety, they have collaborated with some of the worlds most fashion-forward companies such as Colette (France), Freak’s Store (Japan), Concepts (USA), and Alife (USA).

The Kensington and Expedition jackets are both available at Outtabounds.

*Kensington is a womens jacket.
