HUF was created by pro skater Keith Hufnagel in San Francisco.
Since 2002, HUF has expanded into 3 shops and all the while maintaining its status as a skateshop/clothing brand. The humble intentions of Hufnagel, ultimately, created a business bigger than a local skateshop. As a brand, HUF is continuously progressing with the trends, while streetwear is still dominant and popular, menswear is garnering attention and HUF seems to be dabbling with some menswear ideas. Bringing the best of both worlds, HUF’s Fall collection features traditional tee’s, flannels and hoodies but also has a nice Chambray shirt (seen below), Sherpa Lined Flannel (button-up-esque / not in store), and Field shirt (not in store) reminiscent of a M-65 Jacket. Usually a brand would shoot itself in the foot when balancing between current interests and the future’s potential direction. Luckily HUF has proven to have the ability to produce anything you may be interested in with respectability and ingenuity.
HUF is always on the grind, collaberating with Nike SB, Vans (x2,) Converse, and creating in-store (LA & SF) exclusives. Hufnagel doesn’t take any breaks either.
